The Manuka honey shines in a velvety caramel-brown, which is due to the different flower colors sometimes lighter, sometimes darker . He smells intensely resinous.
The taste of the honey surprised me with a resinous-spicy, slightly bitter Note, which is refined with a sweet caramel nuance. It tastes insanely delicious on fresh bread and butter.
Each honey has anti-bacterial properties, the valuable Manuka honey from Sonnentor convinced, however, with a high TA-factor of 25+. TA stands for "total activity" and describes the natural disinfectant action of the honey, the results from the only Manuka honey own NPA (Non-Peroxide Activity) in combination with the peroxide activity, which has almost every honey.
