Manjistha is the dyer's root. Manjistha Churna provides bitter, tart and sweet flavours. In Ayurveda, the dried root of the Manjistha plant is used as a powder. According to Ayurveda, the Manjistha root is tridosha-balancing, the effect is "heating".
Usage
A maximum of 2-5g daily (2g is a teaspoon), twice daily with warm drinking water at least 30 minutes after eating. It is recommended to take the first dose after breakfast.
