    I'm Pregnant - Everything Changes!

Wow, I'm pregnant - everyone says everything will change. A few other tips on nutrition, health, and the essence of feeling beautiful. The following article covers the classic topics in pregnancy that not only I, but probably every woman, faces while in this special growth and development phase. These include natural trimester-related conditions such as nausea, fatigue, iron deficiency, stretch marks, and heartburn.

Based on my own experiences, I try to show simple and more affordable ways to achieve successful results during pregnancy without consuming expensive mom products.

The Most Important At A Glance

    • Listen to your body and get rest when you need it.
    • Avoid stress to prevent nausea.
    • Experiment with different tea varieties to promote wellbeing.
    • An Ayurvedic morning routine can help improve oral health.
    • Regular exercise and balanced nutrition are crucial.

    My First Pregnancy

I am pregnant with my first child and find myself, or so one says, in the middle of the most legendary phase of being a woman. With the first ultrasound image, it becomes clear to me: I have suddenly become a target audience for a new market. Various free samples, dietary supplements, pregnancy and baby cosmetics are offered to me. My trash overflows with pastel-colored plastic and paper.

I wonder if I should drink nothing but "pregnancy tea" for the rest of my pregnancy, go to "mama yoga" in "maternity pants," and whether expensive "mama oil" is necessary. I decide to find my own paths and use my changed situation to be a more conscious woman.

    1st Trimester: Something's Docking

Actually, I'm a very active person, but at the beginning of my pregnancy, I was often incredibly tired and short of breath. To counteract fatigue and sluggishness, I listened to my body, gave it rest, moved moderately, and ate a balanced diet. Drinking plenty (2.5-4L) was key.

Stress led directly to nausea for me. When stressed, my body reacted immediately, so I had to vomit right away. During a stressful theater production, I often sought fresh air and rest. I prepared a bed with herbal and spiced teas, zwieback and a hot water bottle and plenty of rest.

    Here are my tea favorites:

    1. Turmeric Powder: A cup of hot water with turmeric powder, cinnamon powder and honey.
    2. Hari - Evening Rest Chai: Calming and lightly satisfying with vanilla and rooibos.
    3. Hari - Wings of Life: A hint of orange with herbal notes and warming spices.

    Discovery: Lavender really does calm

At first, I thought pregnancy would be unique and approached clichés skeptically. But lavender really did help. In stressful moments, I held lavender to my nose and breathed deeply in and out.

2nd Trimester: Expectant Mother Mama Is Fit Again

Well, hurray, because now also: bloating, constipation, threatening iron deficiency, bad breath and bleeding gums. For bloating, above all, relaxation helps and proximity to open windows. The change in pH value and hormones requires intensive oral hygiene.

Light Morning Sports And Intensive Oral Hygiene

I get up earlier, prepare hot water with turmeric and ginger, meditate and do light yoga. Oil pulling and tongue scraping are part of the routine. I oil myself with sesame oil and use a softer toothbrush and alcohol-free mouthwash.

    Porridge For Sluggish Bowels

Since the bowel becomes sluggish, I regularly eat warm grain porridge. Oats and millet are excellent iron suppliers. A porridge made from oat and millet flakes, ghee, flax seeds, nuts and cinnamon, along with fresh apple-pear compote, is ideal.

3rd Trimester: Slowly It Gets Heavier

You're probably already practicing for the sleepless nights to come. The joints are soft, and the symphysis makes itself felt. Stretch marks, itchy skin, and heartburn are issues.

    Skin Oil For Stretch Marks

Against stretch marks, I use blackthorn oil and monoi coconut oil. I oil myself daily and use sesame oil to save costs.

    What Helps Me With Heartburn

The growing baby promotes heartburn. I eat several small meals and avoid spicy food. Almonds and milk help me calm my stomach. If not, I continue experimenting with alkaline foods.

Not Just During Pregnancy: Exercise, Good Nutrition, And Plenty Of Fluids

I eat a balanced diet and move regularly. It is important to drink plenty of water, teas, and diluted fruit juices to provide your body with adequate supply.

    Conclusion

Five days until my estimated due date. With eager anticipation and nervousness, I look around. The nesting instinct has struck, and preparations for the baby are complete. Thank you pregnancy, it was nice. I think we're ready now.
