Mung Dal (peeled, split mung beans) is a valuable source of protein and rich in fiber, ideal for easily digestible meals. The fine texture makes Mung Dal the perfect base for classic Ayurveda dishes such as Kitchari, soups, and dal stews. Thanks to the peeled form, the beans cook particularly quickly and are easy to use in the kitchen.

The green mung beans are cleaned, peeled, and split after harvest
Preparation
No soaking required. Rinse Mung Dal before cooking. Bring 1 cup of dal with approximately 2.5 cups of fresh water to a boil once and simmer for 12-15 minutes. Season with salt only after cooking. Mung Dal cooks until soft and still maintains a fine bite.
