    Vegane Schoko–Kardamom Mousse

    Vegan Chocolate-Cardamom Mousse

    A creamy, vegan mousse with delicate orange aroma, silky avocado and exotic cardamom notes. Full of nutrients, without refined sugar – a heavenly dessert with Ayurvedic flair.

    Ingredients (for approx. 6 servings)

    Basic Ingredients:

    5 large oranges
    5 ripe avocados
    5 tbsp maple syrup
    3 tbsp cocoa (unsweetened)
    4 tsp finely grated orange zest (organic quality)
    5 tbsp almond butter (white or brown)
    ½ tsp Cardamom (ground)

    For Garnishing:

    as needed Fresh mint leaves

    Instructions (approx. 15 minutes)

    Prepare oranges: Wash oranges thoroughly. Grate the zest if desired, then halve and squeeze.
    Prepare avocados: Remove the flesh from the avocados.
    Prepare mousse: Place orange juice, avocado flesh, maple syrup, cocoa, orange zest, Cardamom and almond butter in a blender and mix into a smooth, airy cream.
    Let rest: Transfer the mousse to small bowls or glasses and let rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
    Serve: Garnish with fresh mint before serving. Also wonderful as a filling for tarts or on pancakes.

    Ayurveda Tips:

    Best time of day: Ideal as a dessert after a light lunch or as a sweet snack.

    Vata: Particularly balancing through the creamy texture and warming spices.

    Pitta: The cooling properties of avocado and almond butter have a harmonizing effect.

    Kapha: Enjoy in small amounts, if needed increase Cardamom and cocoa content.

    Variation: For a more intense flavor, you can add cinnamon or grated tonka bean.
