In the therapeutic field in particular, the quality of oils is essential. In our Ayurveda medicine practice, we use exclusively oils that have been produced according to classical manufacturing methods. These are very time-consuming and require extensive knowledge of herbs and proper preparation. Only in this way can they develop their full therapeutic effects in medical applications.

In the second generation, the five sons of the founder Vaidyakalanidhi M.S. Chandrasekharan Nair now operate their Ayurveda hospitals and the production facility for Ayurvedic products in Changanacherry, Kerala, South India. While two of the sons are trained Ayurvedic doctors and chief physicians of their own hospitals, two others hold leading positions in the production facility.

The sesame oil is naturally "cold-pressed" in the in-house presses and made from a blend of light and dark seeds. The raw materials, plants and herbs used come primarily from wild growth or organic cultivation. At SSA, absolutely authentic Ayurvedic tradition comes together with the most modern, hygienic processing. In the in-house laboratory, all raw materials and finished products are tested meticulously for residues and efficacy, and every batch is documented.
