Ginger: Ginger is a herbaceous, perennial plant that produces rhizomes or root stock (Zingiberis rhizoma). Known as ginger root, they are used both for culinary purposes and for a variety of applications. The roots of the ginger plant, which is cultivated worldwide in all tropical regions, have a sharp taste and are considered warming.
