The particular perspiration-inhibiting effect of the Bioturm silver Deodorant Intensive is caused by the addition of alum.

Alum contains aluminum, it is bound here, however, unlike in conventional Deodorants: In conventional Deodorants, man-made, chlorinated aluminum salts (aluminum Chlorohydrate), Bioturm Ammonium Alum made from cultured crystals is used without chlorination. This is in contrast to chlorinated aluminum salts as safe and is expressly permitted by the BDIH for natural cosmetics.

Effect

The deodorant is provided with a subtle fragrance for a fresh feeling on the skin. Pure colloidal silver works naturally against odour-forming bacteria. A mix of effective minerals, including alum, reduces perspiration effectively: To Moisten with water and Apply the alum forms a protective acid mantle on the skin. Growth of bacteria is prevented, therefore, no body odor. It has astringent, styptic and a disinfectant, and is thus (theoretically) after shaving the face, in the armpits, in the Bikini area or legs can be used.
