This is how Naturata yeast flakes are made
The breeding ground for the multiplication of the yeast consists of beet molasses. Mineral salts and vitamin preparations are added to the beet molasses to ensure optimal yeast growth. The resulting "yeast cream" is gently dried. Heated rotating rollers are wetted with yeast cream. The yeast cells open due to the heat and the yeast cell water evaporates. Due to the heat of vaporization extracted, the yeasts are exposed to temperatures of almost 100 °C for only a few seconds. As a result, the yeast ingredients are hardly affected. The yeast flakes are dried within one roller revolution. They are continuously scraped off the roller.
