The breeding ground for the multiplication of the yeasts is made of beet molasses. The beet molasses is mixed with mineral salts and vitamins to ensure optimal yeast growth.The resulting "Heferahm" is gently dried. Heated rotating rollers are wetted with Heferahm. Due to the heat the yeast open cells and the yeast cell water to evaporate. Due to the removed heat of Evaporation and the affects of yeast temperatures of about 100 °C for only a few seconds. As a result, the yeast content of the materials are hardly affected. Within a rolling rotation, the yeast flakes are dried. They are continuously scraped off from the roller.
