Cosmoveda - ORGANIC Ashwagandha Churna, Withania somnifera - 500 g

Ashwagandha - Whitania somnifera - is an evergreen, bush-like plant 0.5-1.5 m high with fleshy roots, simple, green, oval leaves and small, spherical, orange-red berries, the root of which is used in Ayurvedic nutrition. The root powder, which is finely and gently ground (below 40°C) in our production, comes from our Indian and Sri Lankan fair trade and organic projects.

According to Ayurveda, this product correlates at the level of the harmonious balance of the doshas¹ through the balance of the six tastes. It provides spicy, bitter and tart flavors.

Recommended consumption

Take one level measuring spoon daily (divided into 2 portions) between meals. To do this, pour boiling water over it, let it steep briefly and drink warm. The daily consumption of 2.70g of herbal powder contains 6.48mg of polyphenols².

²Polyphenols are bioactive, secondary plant substances that shape the dosha character of plants in the form of dyes, flavors and tannins.

The legislature has not yet set an NRV value (reference amount for daily intake) for secondary plant substances. The amount stated here corresponds to traditional Ayurvedic recommendations.

The recommended daily dose should not be exceeded. Dietary supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of reach of small children.
