Dietary supplement made from herbs with secondary plant compounds (polyphenols)

Mandukaparni - Centella asiatica - is a perennial plant with delicate, herbaceous growth, featuring a stem that creeps along the ground and bears both leaves and roots at its nodes, with small red to white flowers and oval to spherical fruits. In Ayurvedic nutrition, the leaves are used. The powder from the above-ground plant parts in our production is finely and gently ground (below 40°C) and sourced from our Fair Trade and organic projects in India and Sri Lanka.

According to Ayurveda, this product correlates at the level of harmonious balance of the Doshas¹ through balancing the six taste qualities. It provides the bitter taste quality.

Usage Recommendation

Take one level measuring spoon daily (divided into 2 portions) between meals. Pour boiling water over it, let it steep briefly, and drink it warm. The daily consumption amount of 2.40g of herbal powder contains 68.64mg polyphenols².

²Polyphenols are bioactive, secondary plant compounds that, in the form of pigments, flavoring substances, and tannins, characterize the Dosha nature of plants.

The regulatory authorities have not yet established an NRV (reference intake value for daily consumption) for secondary plant compounds. The amount stated here corresponds to traditional Ayurvedic recommendations.
