Cosmoveda - BIO Shatavari Capsules

Shatavari, also known as wild asparagus or Asparagus racemosus, is a climbing, perennial plant that can grow up to seven meters high. Its white, fragrant flowers develop into red berry fruits. The wild asparagus has pronounced rhizomes and leaves that thicken in a prickly manner in the lower areas. In Ayurvedic nutrition, the root and fresh juice are used, from which a powder or Churna is obtained at low temperatures below 40°C. This preserves the valuable active ingredients. The powder is filled into vegan cellulose capsules for easier consumption.

Cosmoveda Shatavari comes from Indian and Sri Lankan Fair Trade and organic projects.

Shatavari is also available in other forms - for example in Cosmoveda's Shatavari Churna, as a sweetened hot beverage Shatavari Hot Instant Infusion, or as an Ayurvedic massage oil Shatavari Gritham.

Recommended Use

Take 6 capsules twice daily between meals with warm water. The daily recommended amount of 3.36g herbal powder contains 9.07mg polyphenols. These are bioactive, secondary plant compounds that give plants their Dosha character in the form of pigments, flavoring substances, and tannins.

To date, the legislator has not established an NRV value (reference intake for daily consumption) for secondary plant compounds. The amount specified here corresponds to traditional Ayurvedic recommendations.
