The blood algae (Haematococcus pluvialis) is a microalga. It is known for its impressive red coloring, which it intensifies under difficult living conditions as a protective response. The carotenoid astaxanthin is responsible for this, which is also found in various fruits and vegetables, and for example also causes the characteristic coloring of salmon and flamingos. The natural selenium for the GSE BIO Astaxanthin + Selenium capsules comes from an organic mustard seed extract. Black mustard (Brassica nigra) is a plant species from the genus Brassica in the family of crucifers (Brassicaceae). Selenium contributes to protecting cells from oxidative stress.

The grape seed concentrate powder comes exclusively from grapes cultivated according to the rules of organic farming. Grape seeds are rich in natural OPC (oligomeric proanthocyanidins). OPC are counted among the secondary plant substances that plants use, among other things, as defense substances against harmful external, environmentally related influences.
The astaxanthin for the GSE BIO Astaxanthin+Selenium capsules comes from the red algae Haematococcus pluvialis which is cultivated in the Krkonoše Mountains National Park in the Czech Republic in glass tube photobioreactors according to EU organic farming guidelines. The modern glass tube photobioreactors are supplied with the purest mountain spring water, which meets the strict requirements for the production of baby food and is certified for this purpose. The state-of-the-art process enables an unusually high astaxanthin concentration of at least 5% in the microalgae biomass.

Take 1 capsule daily with sufficient liquid.
