GSE - Omega 3 Perilla Oil Capsules (Organic)

Perilla oil is a dietary supplement with alpha-linolenic acid (Omega 3) and thus an excellent source of unsaturated plant-based fatty acids. The important omega-3 fatty acid alpha-linolenic acid is even contained at over 60%. Omega-3 fatty acids as dietary components have a supportive effect in regulating cholesterol levels. The cold-pressed oil from the seeds of the perilla plant is offered in capsule form.

For humans, omega-3 fatty acids are essential nutrients. The body cannot produce them on its own, which is why they must be regularly consumed through food. Compared with other plant oils, perilla oil stands out for its highest content of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA). From this important omega-3 fatty acid, the body can produce the "fish oil fatty acids" eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). Compared to these, it has the decisive advantage of having lower susceptibility to oxidation and the absence of an intrusive fish flavor.
