Manjistha is the dyer's root. Manjistha Churna provides the taste profiles of bitter, astringent, and sweet. In Ayurveda, the dried root of the Manjistha plant is used as a powder. According to Ayurveda, the Manjistha root is Tridosha-balancing, with a "heating" effect.
Usage
Maximum 2-5g daily (2g equals one teaspoon), 2 times daily with lukewarm water at least 30 minutes after meals. It is recommended to take the first dose after breakfast.
