The Miraherba Pitta herbal tea is a combination of Brahmi, turmeric, licorice, pomegranate pieces, cardamom, rose petals, almond leaves, ginger and Indian bay leaf – blended according to Ayurvedic tradition for the Pitta Dosha.
A mild, floral-sweet blend that is also suitable for hot summer days.
Ingredients & Flavor
Brahmi and turmeric form the base of the blend. Licorice and pomegranate pieces give the tea a natural sweetness. Cardamom and rose petals impart a floral aroma, while almonds and ginger add a delicious and nutty taste. Indian bay leaf rounds off the blend with a spicy note.
Preparation
Steep 1 tablespoon in 1/2 liter of boiling water for 10 minutes, or simmer in the same amount of water for 5 minutes.
Sweeten with jaggery or whole cane sugar as desired.
