Is the Pitta Balance Set right for me?
Pitta Dosha is also referred to in Ayurveda as fire, with properties that are hot, penetrating, and have a sour and sharp taste. When this dosha is imbalanced, you feel "as if in an oven" – the skin becomes flushed, heat often rises to the head, the body tends to sweat, the stomach is prone to heartburn, and digestion is too rapid. In excess Pitta, reactions are often excessive, with a tendency toward anger, jealousy, and rash actions.
How to bring your Pitta back into balance
Organic Body and Massage Oil
Even though Pitta people tend to have an aversion to oil massage, the herbs in this special preparation have a cooling and harmonizing effect on the skin and help bring balance. The oil can be used for head or full-body massage. Warm gently before use.
Organic Pitta Tea, cooling and soothing
A tea blend that regulates excessive Pitta and has a cooling effect on body and mind.
It's best to brew 1 liter in the morning using 2 tablespoons of the mixture and drink it throughout the day.
Organic Pitta Balance Churna
Elevated Pitta manifests in an restless digestive tract. This leads to heartburn, diarrhea, or inflammation. Our spice blend regulates Pitta and brings more calm and balance to your stomach. You can use it to season your vegetables, dhal, or rice, or for stubborn digestive problems, mix 1 teaspoon of the blend with a bit of ghee, take it before eating, and follow with some warm water.
Ayurveda Red Pitta Face Mask
Pitta skin tends toward redness, inflammation, or visible red veins on the face.
The mask is cooling, reduces redness, and imparts a relaxed radiance.
Mix 1-2 tablespoons of the powder with ghee to create an even, not-too-liquid paste. Apply thinly to the face with a mask brush and leave on for 15 minutes. To finish, rose water can be sprayed on as a facial tonic.
