Asparagus racemosus is a climbing plant native to India from the asparagus family. These develop a sophisticated root system with tuberous roots. These root tubers are dried and further processed to be used in Ayurveda medicine – as has been done for generations – as the "Shatavari" medicinal plant.
The root tastes sweet and bitter, cools Pitta and reduces Vata. It has nourishing properties and increases Kapha.
Recommended consumption
One capsule three times daily.
3 capsules contain 1200 mg Shatavari extract and 180 mg saponin
