Ravintsara essential oil, with its clear, fresh, woody, and camphoraceous scent, works purifying, clarifying, and strengthening. Its preventative effect against viral infections makes it a valuable companion for those prone to infections and people with weakened immune systems. It can help prevent the formation of cold sores and is therefore ideal for a lip balm.
For delayed recovery after prolonged illnesses, Ravintsara oil is restorative and strengthening. Ravintsara is also helpful for disinfecting room air during cold season.

Application
For room fragrance, diluted and mixed for cosmetic and therapeutic use on the skin, e.g. in facial and body oils, for massage oils, for therapeutic massage and wraps, as a bath additive, for masks, for homemade cosmetic products
Recipe Tip Cooling Lip Balm (preventive for those prone to cold sores)
- 25 ml Shea butter* organic
- 10 drops Ravintsara essential oil organic*
- 5 drops Peppermint essential oil organic*
Melt the shea butter in a water bath (max. 50°) and then stir in 10 drops Ravintsara organic* and 5 drops Peppermint well. Let cool in the refrigerator and your lip care cream is ready. If prone to cold sores, apply regularly at the first sign of itching.
For use in aromatherapy care: 20 drops in 50 ml Organic care oil
