Typical representatives of a healthy intestinal flora are lactic acid bacteria such as Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium lactis. Their proportion of the intestinal flora naturally decreases with age.

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has scientifically confirmed that vitamin C contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system and to the protection of cell components from oxidative damage. After all, between 70 and 80% of the immune cells are located in the intestine.

Mifloran Plus also contains the dietary fiber oligofructose. It is made from chicory. Like all roughage, oligofructose cannot be digested enzymatically in the intestine, but is metabolized by the bacteria in the intestinal flora.

Consumption note:

Consume 1 tablespoon (10 g) of Mifloran® Plus stirred into muesli, yoghurt or quark daily. For children we recommend 1/2 to 1 teaspoon (2-5 g) spread throughout the day. You can also dissolve and drink Mifloran® Plus in cold drinks such as mineral water or milk.
