Tea from Nepal - Tridosha Tea

Our Tridosha Tea is part of the Ayurvedic tea range from Nepal, which also includes Vata, Pitta and Kapha Tea. "Tri" stands for three, referring to the three Doshas Vata, Pitta and Kapha. The recipe combines sprouts of wheat, parsley and oats with basil, cinnamon and ginger as well as cardamom, clove, long and black pepper. It has been passed down through generations in a Nepalese family.

In the cup, the tea is dark yellow to copper-colored. Its taste is difficult to categorize at first: exotic, spicy and warming. Even when cooled or cold, it retains its aroma.

Preparation

The water temperature for brewing should be between 85 to 90 °C, the steeping time is 5 minutes. Alternatively, simmer the tea for 3 minutes.
