Cosmoveda - Vasaka Churna, Lungwort - 80g

Vasaka (Adhatoda vasica) is an evergreen tree, growing up to 3 meters tall, with lanceolate leaves, white or purple flowers, and four-seeded fruit. In Ayurvedic medicine, the leaves, flowers, roots, and fruit are used. The powder we produce, finely and gently ground (below 40°C) from the leaves, comes from our Fair Trade and organic projects in India and Sri Lanka.

According to Ayurveda, this product correlates with the harmonious balance of the doshas¹ by balancing the six tastes. It provides the bitter and astringent tastes.

Recommended intake

Take one level measuring spoon daily (divided into two portions) after meals. Pour boiling water over the powder, let it steep briefly, and drink warm. The daily intake of 2.30g of herbal powder contains 28.06mg of polyphenols².

²Polyphenols are bioactive, secondary plant compounds that, in the form of pigments, flavorings and tannins, shape the dosha character of plants.

The legislator has not yet established an NRV (Reference Intake) for secondary plant compounds. The amount given here corresponds to traditional Ayurvedic recommendations.

The stated recommended daily intake must not be exceeded. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of reach of small children.
