To be used with the My.Yo - yoghurt maker
If you want to eat vegan today, you no longer have to do without delicious yoghurt. Our vegan yoghurt cultures have been cultivated on purely plant-based soil.
- One sachet of vegan yoghurt ferment is sufficient for the preparation of 1 liter of veghurt
- The finished veghurt can be inoculated up to 4 times, so one pack is sufficient for up to 15 liters of veghurt (pack of 3) or 30 liters of veghurt (pack of 6)
- For the fermentation of plant-based drinks, such as soy drinks
- Low in calories, fat and cholesterol
- No artificial or animal additives
- 100% naturally prepared veghurt
- It can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 10 days
Maturation time: 12-14 hours at around 37-42 degrees
How to prepare with plant-based drinks:
You need:
1 bag of My.Yo Yoghurt Ferment
1 liter plant drink , e.g. oat/almond/coconut drinks
1 tsp thickening agent such as agar-agar
Preparation:
- Dissolve 1 teaspoon of agar-agar in some plant drink, add the remaining plant drink (1 liter) while stirring.
- Boil the whole thing for 2 minutes while stirring and let it cool down again.
- Stir in the yoghurt ferment only when the liquid is no warmer than max. 38-39°C.
- It may be that the mix is already a bit thick, so stir in the ferment vigorously.
- Then let it mature in the My.Yo Yoghurt Maker
Tip: If the veghurt is not firm and has formed 2 layers, it is because the agar-agar has not yet bonded. Simply stir the veghurt again and put it in the fridge. Depending on the plant drink you use, add 1 teaspoon of natural sweetener to get the bacteria going. Simply stir in before maturing (e.g. agave syrup) to start the fermentation process.
