According to the descriptions of Ayurvedic medicine, elevated Vata shows susceptibility to inner restlessness, insomnia, tension, joint, muscle or headaches.
The gritham develops a particularly intensive effect when you warm it to body temperature in warm water before use. This can be done in a baby bottle warmer or in a water bath. Place the bottle either directly in a pot of hot water or put an appropriate amount of oil in a small glass bowl that is warmed in hot water. The liquid gritham can be dropped into the nose with a pipette or rubbed in with the finger daily 1-2 times for nasal care.
