According to Ayurvedic medicine, elevated Vata indicates a susceptibility to inner restlessness, insomnia, tension, joint pain, muscle pain, or headaches. The oils are particularly effective if you warm them to lukewarm water before use. This can be done in a baby bottle warmer or in a water bath. To do this, either place the bottle directly in a pot of hot water or add an appropriate amount of oil to a small glass bowl and warm it in the hot water.
