Kokum - Garcinia indica - is a medium-tall tree with a dense canopy of elliptical to oblong-lanceolate, dark green and glossy leaves with tomato-sized, brownish, yellow marbled fruits with very fatty seeds that provide the kokum butter. Fruits and seeds are used in Ayurvedic nutrition. The fruit powder, which is finely and gently ground (below 40°C) in our production, comes from our Indian and Sri Lankan fair trade and organic projects.
According to Ayurveda, this product correlates on the level of harmonious balance of the doshas by balancing the six tastes. It provides the tastes of sour and sweet.Consumption recommendation
Take 5 capsules á 0.44g (0.34g net content) twice a day between meals with warm water. The daily consumption of 3.40g herbal powder contains 58.99mg polyphenols.
