Cloves are also used to gingerbread, fruit dishes, for Canning and to many meat dishes. In Indian curries, they are a good fit to cardamom and cinnamon. The clove-tree with its Eugenol, pinene, and Vanillin-containing flower buds were originally in the Moluccas.
