GSE - Omega 3 Perilla Oil Capsules (Organic) - 150 capsules

Perilla oil is a dietary supplement containing alpha-linolenic acid (Omega 3) and is therefore an excellent source of unsaturated vegetable fatty acids. The important omega-3 fatty acid alpha-linolenic acid is even contained in a proportion of over 60%. As dietary components, omega-3 fatty acids have a supporting effect in regulating cholesterol levels. The cold-pressed oil from the seeds of the perilla plant is offered in capsules.

Omega-3 fatty acids are vital (essential) for humans. The body cannot produce them itself, which is why they must be consumed regularly with food. Omega-3 fatty acids can help reduce elevated blood fat levels due to diet. They help to keep blood lipid levels (cholesterol, triglycerides) in balance. This counteracts deposits on the vessel wall, which in turn keeps the blood vessels healthy. The German Nutrition Society (DGE) recommends increasing the consumption of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA).

The oil from the seeds of the perilla plant has a very high percentage of polyunsaturated fatty acids. These are characterized by a nutritionally favorable ratio to one another: Omega-3 fatty acid Alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) : Omega-6 fatty acid Linoleic acid : Omega-9 fatty acid Oleic acid = 60 : 15 : 15.

Compared to other vegetable oils, perilla oil stands out because it has the highest alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) content. The “fish oil fatty acids” eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and decosahexaenoic acid (DHA) can be formed in the body from this important omega-3 fatty acid. Compared to these, it has the decisive advantage that it is less susceptible to oxidation and there is no obtrusive fishy taste.

Consume 7 capsules of 600 mg daily with enough liquid
