Application

Wash your hair with a silicone-free shampoo like khadi Amla , Shining Shikakai , or Neem Balance Shampoo. For heavily damaged hair, we recommend pre-treating with khadi Senna Cassia .

This is how you optimally prepare your hair for khadi plant hair color mahogany:

Mix the khadi herbal hair color powder with 80 degree warm water until you get a smooth cream. Distribute this evenly throughout your hair with a brush: strand by strand - right down to the tips. If you only want to color your roots, leave out the lengths and ends.

Leave the mahogany herbal hair color to work for between 60 and 120 minutes. The longer it works, the darker the color result will be. If you have already colored with this shade and you just want to refresh your color, leave the color in your hair for just 15 to 30 minutes.

Rinse the herbal hair color with clear water after the exposure time. Now avoid using shampoo for 24 to 48 hours, as the color depth of your khadi shade will fully develop during this time.

To fix the new color pigments in your hair, you can use a khadi hair oil ( for example the Strong amla hair oil ) before washing your hair for the first time after coloring. Leave the oil on for at least 20 minutes and then wash it out with a natural shampoo. This means your khadi herbal hair color lasts longer.
