Description

Our Kapha tea is one of four very special teas in our Ayurvedic range. The herbs and spices used for our Kapha tea grow in the wild in Nepal. They are collected, dried and well-proportioned by Ayurvedic masters in the low and high altitudes. Our Kapha tea can be drunk at any time of day. Our Ayurvedic teas are prepared according to traditional recipes. In Nepal - as hundreds of years ago - Ayurvedic principles are still practised today.
When we have a cup of our Kapha tea in front of us, it looks yellow-reddish to copper-coloured. Its flavour is difficult to define at first: it tastes strongly bitter. Even cooled or cold Kapha tea is a delight.
Preparation
The temperature of the water for infusing Kapha tea should be 85 to 90 °C and the infusion time 5 to 10 minutes.
Ingredients
Oat sprouts 45%, basil 20%, coriander seeds 9%, bay leaves 8%, ginger 8%, cumin 2%, black pepper 2%, long pepper 2%, cloves 2%, black cardamom 2%
