Haritaki, the botanical name is Terminalia Chebula, is also known as Chebulic Myrobalane and is an important component of the Ayurvedic mixture Triphala , for example. Haritaki is an evergreen tree up to 20 meters tall with ovate leaves and white flowers that, after pollination, produce small five-lobed yellow to orange-brown drupes. It is also the early morning tea that is used in Ayurvedic nutrition. The powder of the dried fruit, which is finely and gently ground (below 40 °C), comes from Indian and Sri Lankan fair trade and organic projects.

Consumption recommendation
1/3 teaspoon 3 times a day with hot water between meals. The daily dose contains approx. 2.5 - 3g herbal powder. The recommended daily dose should not be exceeded. Dietary supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced and varied diet. Keep out of reach of small children.
