The BIOTURM® 10% Urea Lotion was tested in the ÖKOTEST-issue in February 2011 with "VERY GOOD" without write-downs.

What Urea is?

Urea (urea) is the final product of amino acid metabolism and is therefore found in animal and plant tissues. Urea is used due to its properties in medicine and cosmetics as a side effect-free moisturizing factor, improves the water-binding capacity and thus a stronger hydration effect of the skin. This is also important in the treatment of Ichtyosis, Psoriasis and eczema, here are urea 5% and 10% ig is used.

Effect

• the moisture content in extremely dry skin is greatly increased
• the scaling is supported, scaly skin appearance is softened

Application
