Drottningsylt is a traditional berry mix that is very popular in Sweden. The fruit spread consists of roughly equal parts blueberries and raspberries. The ratio between the two berries is perfect and gives Drottningsylt its unique, full flavor. It is not known where the fruit spread got its name Drottningsylt, which means queen's jam. What is certain, however, is that the mixture was first mentioned in 1903 in the cookbook Hemmets Kokbok.
