This aromatic herbal tea from Greece combines traditional mountain herbs for an intense, soothing taste experience.
preparation
Traditionally, mountain tea is boiled in a pot. Add approximately 3g of mountain tea (one heaped tablespoon) per liter of water and let it simmer for 10 minutes. For a slightly weaker version, you can pour boiling water over the herb and let it steep for 10 minutes.
The tea tastes good warm or cold as iced tea.
Preparation with a little cinnamon and lemon juice is also common in some regions of Greece.
