The small-leaved lion's ear is a showy flower, growing to 2 meters tall, with long, narrow, deep green leaves and bright orange, velvety tubular flowers that appear in many superimposed whorls.
Beautiful solitary plant with a long flowering period until late autumn. The flowers of the small-leaved lion's ear provide bees, bumblebees and the like with nutritious nectar and pollen.
