GSE - Folic Acid (Organic) - 120 Tablets

Folic acid belongs to the group of B vitamins. It plays a role in all growth and development processes, especially in the formation of blood, cells and genetic material. It is therefore particularly important during pregnancy. It is recommended to take folic acid 1 month before and at least 3 months after fertilization.

Each GSE Folic Acid Compact tablet contains 400 μg of folic acid. That is 200% of the recommended daily intake according to VO(EG) 1196/2011 on the nutritional labeling of food. The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) recommends 400 μg folic acid for women who want to have children and pregnant women. One tablet a day already covers this recommendation. In addition to folic acid, the extract contains secondary plant substances naturally occurring in lemon peel, such as bioflavonoids.

Only ingredients from organic farming are used for Folic Acid Compact and, like the entire Phyto Vitamins product range, Folic Acid Compact only contains vitamins that are obtained directly from plants and standardized. In addition to the naturally occurring vitamins, the biological plant extract used also contains the secondary plant substances naturally occurring in the plant, such as bioflavonoids. These accompanying plant substances also support the usability of the natural folic acid.

Consumption recommendation

Consume 1 x 280 mg tablet per day with sufficient liquid
