According to Ayurveda, herbs help maintain the balance of the doshas on a subtle energetic level. In Ayurveda, herbs are part of our diet and important to provide the body with sufficient secondary plant substances and the tastes bitter and tart. However, Ayurvedic herbs do not replace a healthy, balanced diet or compensate for deficiency symptoms in an unbalanced diet. The mode of action of Ayurvedic herbs is based on traditional Ayurvedic knowledge. Ayurvedic herbs work on the dosha level. An effect in the sense of modern Western science is therefore not claimed. In particular, the aspect of the balance of the doshas has no equivalent in our science, so that there is no confirmation of the effects described in Ayurveda in the sense of western science.

Ayurveda recommends 1-2 tablespoons twice a day after meals.

Once opened, refrigerate and use within 3-4 weeks.
