Planting
Do not sow tomatoes too early. The end of March / beginning of April is sufficient for the home garden. The germination temperature should be approx. 24 ° C. The best protection against late blight and brown rot is a rain canopy over the plants. The tomato grows relatively tall, don't forget the climbing sticks! Tomatoes are happy about a layer of mulch on the ground.
When planting in the bed, put the root ball deeply, because secondary roots will then form on the main trunk.
Plant spacing : 70 x 100 cm
