According to the descriptions of Ayurveda medicine, an increased Vata shows a susceptibility to inner restlessness, insomnia, tension, joint, muscle or headaches. For example, you can use this Vata-reducing oil in an Ayurvedic Kati Basti. You can find out how this works in this blog article: Make Ayurvedic oil bath yourself - Snehana with Kati Basti.
The oils develop a particularly intensive effect if you warm them to the touch in warm water before use. This can be done in a baby food bottle warmer or in a water bath. To do this, either place the bottle directly in a pot of hot water or add an appropriate amount of oil to a small glass bowl that is heated in the hot water. All Vata reducing oils are excellent for daily morning routine and Ayurvedic self-massage (abhyanga). You can find instructions on how to do this in our brochure included in the morning routine pack .
Narayana Tailam can also be used as part of a Nasya treatment. In our blog article "Nasya - the Ayurvedic nasal cleansing and care of the nasal mucous membranes" you can learn more about the background and details of the Ayurvedic Nasya treatment.
