Details
Byodo's classic frying oil is pressed exclusively from high oleic organic sunflower seeds. The special variety contains a particularly large amount of oleic acid, a monounsaturated fatty acid that can be easily heated. Careful deodorization of the cold-pressed oil also ensures that heat-sensitive colors and flavors are reduced in the oil. The classic frying oil can be heated to a high temperature and has a particularly mild taste.
For the sunflower oil, sunflower seeds are mechanically pressed in a screw press. The crude oil is deodorized at approx. 160 ° C and then clarified using unbleached paper filters.
