Details
The flower of the salt is the noblest and most valuable sea salt. It is only produced on hot, windy days and is harvested by hand. The beautiful, relatively large salt crystals are not processed further. Gourmets and top chefs appreciate fleur de sel for seasoning exquisite dishes. The Naturata Fleur de Sel is only harvested in small quantities. It comes completely natural in the box and contains a residual moisture that is typical of this top-quality salt.
Manufacturing
The sea water is discharged into shallow basins and evaporates from the sun and wind. This creates a fine salt crust on the surface of the concentrated salt solution. This flower of salt is carefully skimmed from the water surface by hand with a wooden shovel or with a rake and then packed by hand.
