Kala Namak has a distinctive, sulphurous, smoky note. It is reminiscent of Asafoetida, which also contains sulfur. It can be used in vegan dishes to replace the typical scrambled egg taste. In Indian cuisine it is used in chutneys, raitas, fruit salads and dal dishes.
Just use like normal rock salt.

Cosmoveda black salt is made using an Ayurvedic process. To do this, it is heated in ceramic vessels for several hours together with the fruits amla and haritaki. The ingredients of the Ayurvedic fruits and the salt combine to form reddish-brown, sulphurous-smelling salt crystals.

The Ayurvedic black salt is ideal for seasoning, in addition to normal salt. It is best to use it after cooking to season - this way the valuable ingredients are better preserved. Use sparingly because of the strong taste.
