Chickpeas are cleaned after harvest, peeled, cut in half and packaged.
Use
for Dal, curries, Desserts, as a base for spreads, hummus, Falafel, and Dips
Chana Dal to soak overnight. Under running water wash. 1 Cup of Chana Dal with 3 cups of water in about 15 minutes, until firm to the bite, or in about 45 minutes for the Dal to cook. Without Soaking, the cooking time is extended by approximately 10 minutes.
