Textured pea and field bean protein, granules. High in protein: 53% vegetable protein
Preparation:
Soak the chunks in hot water with a pinch of salt or vegetable stock for 20 minutes. Alternatively, it can also simply be cooked in the sauce!
Recipe idea: Chili sin Carne with fine protein shreds
ingredients
100 g protein chunks, 5 tomatoes,
1 bell pepper, 200 g corn , 100 g lentils ,
200 g kidney beans , 1 large onion,
2 cloves of garlic, 250 ml vegetable stock ,
Juice ½ lemon, pepper , chilli , 1 teaspoon cocoa ,
some locust bean gum(The fresh ingredients can be found in the greengrocer or on the market, the rest is available from Miraherba - just follow the links)
preparation
Wash and dice the tomatoes and peppers. Peeled onion and garlic and chop finely. Cook all ingredients in a large saucepan with the lid closed for around 20 minutes. Serve the chilli with tortilla chips and refine it with vegan parsley yogurt.
