Description

The crispy, crusty bakery bread with a farmer's crust tastes like fresh from the bakery and is still deliciously moist on the third day. And all thanks to the knowledge and experience of Bauck's product developers, naturally without any additives and in the best Demeter quality.
Preparation
for one loaf of bread - long dough
1. mix the bread mix (450 g) with 1/2 sachet of dry yeast, add 340 ml lukewarm water and knead for approx. 5 minutes until a smooth dough is formed.
2. leave the dough to rise overnight (at least 6 hours) in a covered bowl in the fridge.
3. remove the bowl with the dough from the fridge and give it at least 1 hour to reach room temperature.
4. then shape the dough into a round loaf on a floured work surface, place on a baking tray lined with baking paper, flour and leave to rise covered for 45 minutes.
5 Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 230 °C top/bottom heat.
6. cut into the bread with a sharp knife and bake in the centre of the oven. After 10 minutes, reduce the temperature to 210 °C and bake for a further 40 minutes. Leave the bread to cool on a wire rack.

3. then shape the dough into a round loaf on a floured work surface, place on a baking tray lined with baking paper, flour and leave to rise, covered, for a further 45 mins.
4 Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 230 °C top/bottom heat.
5. cut into the bread with a sharp knife and bake in the centre of the oven. After 10 minutes, reduce the temperature to 210 °C and bake for a further 40 minutes. Leave the bread to cool on a wire rack.
